The LuxG is optimized to produce light in dual bands of the spectrum to target pigmented and vascular lesions. Palomar's unique AccuSpectrum technology filters out the undesired light between those wavelength bands, which would otherwise bring unnecessary heat to the epidermis. And increased energy can be delivered for enhanced coagulation of vessels and pigmented lesions.

After treatment, vascular lesions constrict and fade from view, while pigmented lesions darken and crust, and are naturally sloughed from the skin within a couple of weeks.
